Lonely Cloak Go Away

Loneliness,

Fearfulness,

And hatefulness

Hang over me like a coat soaked from the rain.

It is heavy and uncomfortable but too wet that I can’t peel it off my tired skin.

It weighs on me and dictates my decisions.

I feel so scared to let people close enough to look under it because I don’t know what they are going to find underneath.

I don’t know myself anymore.
