Loneliness

Beautiful Darkness

Loneliness,

Walking passionately towards me

She wears a dark coat with no face I can see

I try desperately to get up, run, flee

But it’s too late, she ignores my plea

Her hair, sweetly dancing in the breeze

Fire blazing eyes that force me to my knees

Each step she takes is a sharp tease

As she spreads throughout me like disease

Beautiful darkness taking away the light

Heart so cold, so small, ready to fight

She creeps up to my face and takes a bite

Captivating embrace, black as the night

Her mesmerizing voice, chaos in my ears

Each word she sings scares away my fears

With every kiss she gives, she dries my tears

As I turn into loneliness for the rest of my years
