Lizard or Horned Toad?

I'm not so sure horned toads lay eggs...

A pile of Horned Toads.

This creature pictured above is of an uncommon lizard species called a horned toad,

I think she looked funny,

I picked her up off of the road,

I rubbed her tummy!

He must have been really hungry

He ate a bed bug on the run!

What I did had made him really angry,

I chased him and it was so much fun!

At first it hissed really loudly at me,

Then it had to spray blood out from its eye!

After that I had to set it free,

Because I did not want it to die!

Horned toads eat bugs like hogs,

So much fatter they are than the common lizard!

Though they are not tree frogs,

They could survive through the blizzard!

Baby Horned Toads

A pile of "days old" baby Horned Toads.

A common lizard

A common lizard.
