Live Your Life

As the days go by I can't help but wonder

What is life really supposed to be?

Is it to discover the new?

To gather as much knowledge possible?

Is it to find love and happiness?

Is it to share the love you have within?

Is it to share your thoughts and teach others?

Or is it to listen and learn?

We may never know the answers

Though we still search

Confused as we travel along our paths

Paths we don't know the destinations of

Perhaps we aren't supposed to know the answers

Maybe that is the thrill of it all

Not knowing and just doing

The excitement of not seeing what is to come

Or maybe the answers are right in front of us

Maybe they are out there

The uncertainty will still remain

For we can never be sure

The only certainty we have is that we live

We live and exist in this world

I suppose what we live for is up to us

How we live is our choice

We are to make the decisions

So go out and discover

Learn all you can

Find what makes you happy

Fall in love

Teach those who want to be taught

Listen and be patient

There is no use searching for answers we may never find

So for now, just be

Be you

Be free

Let your uniqueness show

You do not have to be like them

Laugh as loud as you please

Cry if you have to

Scream and express yourself

Never hide who you are

Reach for your goals and achieve them

If you fail, get back up

When you succeed, stay humble

Never forget who you were before

Thrive for what you want to be

Be greater than you were yesterday

Never compare yourself to others

Never belittle those around you

Learn from them

Learn from your own mistakes and misfortunes

It is okay to fall

But always get back up

Fight with everything you have

Stand up against your fears

Have the courage to fight

Have faith

Always be strong

Always remind yourself of how far you have come

Remember the struggles and let them strengthen you

Grow thicker skin

Do not be bothered by ignorant words

Believe in yourself

No dream is too big

Take the chance

Take risks

Be brave

Do the things that scare you most

Push yourself to get where you want to be

In time you will get there

It is a long, hard road this life

But it is all you have

Do not let the moments pass you by

Do not wait until tomorrow

For tomorrow is not guaranteed

Do it now

Take the first step

Before you know it you will be walking

Running to meet your goals

You can do it

Keep trying

No matter what comes your way

Do not lose your faith

There will be good days

And there will be bad ones

Don't let the bad weigh you down

No matter what happens know you can make it through

You are stronger than you know

Stronger than you may feel

This life is more than heartbreak

More than your sorrows

Live it to the fullest

Keep going strong

Just take one step at a time

You will get there

You will reach all of your goals

You will live your dreams

You will be a success

It takes time but you will get there

So for now, take it easy

Breath in deep

Learn to relax
