Lifeless Daisy

For the One Who Killed My Pure Roots

I was fourteen when I saw my white petals turn red…

Because of you.

I was still blossoming, trying as best as I can to rise amongst this garden of dirt;

But you cut off my roots before I even finished to bloom.

I was fourteen when I understood that there would be no way back, no second chance…

Because of you.

I was still trying to find within me the life essence;

Yet I never finished my efflorescence.

You said that I was the most beautiful thing you ever saw;

The purest daisy among dozens of dandelions.

What I never understood is:

Why did you pull me out so abruptly of my unbroken paradise?

The only thing that ended up from this;

Was me watching you take back your sickening scissors, while I was slowly dying.

The only thing I could feel;

Was the blood slowly dripping away from my broken roots.

You wasted all of my purity;

And I died because of an eye that did not see

The beauty of a blooming pride.
