So tired of this lifestyle
Sleepin 'til the day is gone
Hoping to be successful
But not hungry enough to get there
Letting people down is my forte
Killing my body, mind, and soul
Getting used to this lifestyle
One of these days it’s going to destroy me
My self destruct button is already in my hand
Just one switch and I’m headed to the promise land
The land of forgotten dreams
Wishful thinking
Never believing
Just a reality that keeps deceiving
