Life

I still remember.

I still remember

our first date to the coast

You held my hand and told me you loved me

and everything around me froze.

I fell in love with you at that very moment

I knew I wanted to be with you

You made me so happy, you brought joy to my life

I could see it in your eyes too.

We used to spend so much time together

We used to laugh, make jokes and live life

I was so happy when that day came around

When you asked me to be your wife

Things couldn't have been more perfect

3 children and one on the way

you did what any man would do

you worked hard and didn't go out to play

I miss those days of laughter and the days of happiness

where we both use you to shine

We had everything we wanted

We had each other, I was happy you were mine

All of this happiness and love

was destroyed by one thing

And for that

things will never be the same

It breaks my heart

that all of this had to be

If you would have just said no

It could have been just you and me

Unfortunately that day will never come

it has come to an end

I wish It never happen this way

Cause we all are sufferin

Even though what has happened

And our love we once had is gone

I will always hold onto the good memories

and what used to be our strong bond

I pray life gets easier for both you and I

For we share a daughter together

I know you love her and want to be in her life

I want that to happen once things get better.

For now I pray that god gives us peace

He gives us strength and light

For we both need it in this battle

We call life.
