Once so green and once so bright, shining light with all your might. From your past to your present you've stayed strong, withstanding the pressure of mankind's force, it seems their agenda is to see you no more.
I have seen what you have given, I have seen what has been taken, may I apologise for my fellow man's ignorance?
There will come a day when we are no more, this is the day when your spirit will soar, this the day our earth lives once more.

INTRODUCTION Prompted: #3 is over and done with. There were a total of 7 entries for this challenge, just like with Prompted #2. That was a bit surprising, considering this was a poetry challenge.
