It hurts to let you go
It hurts to see you leave
I've been striving to live
It hurts so much, it hurts a lot
Luckily, I'm in the last stage of grieve
It took me a century to achieve
It's the hardest choice I've ever made or so I believe
The pain has created a hole
Everything hasn't been whole
It hurts to let you go
I still love you though

THE ONLY ELEMENT, LIKE GUM
In India, resides a peculiar element, indium, which possesses a unique characteristic – it's as malleable and gentle as bubble gum. For years, I've held onto a lump of this indium, but it wasn't until recently that I dared to take a bite. Surprisingly, sinking my teeth into it wasn't the daunting task I imagined. Like refrigerated Milk Duds, it softened gradually in my mouth, its metallic nature discernible through the vibrations of its twinning crystals.
