Once, in Ohio, where we went,

How amazing was the view,

But when we went to an island nearby,

It was serious déjà vu.

We were there once, when I was young,

I was not a master,

With driving a golf cart, long ago,

It was a complete disaster!

I stopped in front of some big rocks,

That was back in the past,

In the present, I tried driving again,

Hoping my control lasts.

I was careful with my surroundings,

My eyes were on the road,

I kept my hands on the wheel,

No pressure to make my brain explode.

At medium speed, I kept the cart,

Not too fast or too slow,

But, just right, like in “The Three Bears,"

Good thing there wasn’t snow.

I couldn’t believe I was driving a golf cart,

And not crashing in a glass dome,

This was good practice,

For when I actually drive at home.
