Somewhere along the way she forgot her legacy
She laid it down because it was too heavy
But forgot where she left it
Confused by the pain it caused she was left to wander
Straggling about aimlessly
Searching in all the dark places for her worth
They taught her she was only worth the babies she could birth
So they could work
Each one stolen from her
Torn from her arms as strong as they were
Sowing the seed with her life blood
Back strong from toiling through her tears that made her blind
Blindly leading because He wasn’t allowed to
A death wish by design put in place to tear apart what was divinely written
Left unprotected she became fierce
Fighting inside and out for her freedom
Wild and untamed she forgot her beginnings
Highly exalted and esteemed
She used to run Queedoms and build nations
Now she just built walls
Standing in front she became the protector instead of the protected
Becoming despised by her own and rejected
Simply to be replaced by all others who wanted to remake themselves in her image
Left to carry on the legacy
Unable to break her mind fully they focused on her body
Stole what was only hers to give and reduced her to her womb
Convincing her she was only worthy of praise if her pussy was tight, her throat was deep, and her ass was fat
Reducing her to the sum of her parts
While telling her she had no need for her heart
Labeling her as angry
While insisting that she do it all on her own
Yet condemning her independence
She was only worthy of a man she was willing to lift up and carry
Being told all others were above her
She should revel in simply being wanted by anyone willing to take her
She grew both strong and brittle
Growing exponentially while constantly being hindered and held back
An anomaly and still she thrived
Excelling past all those who see her as unworthy
Yet still expected to birth, build, and maintain
She was QUEEN
And to rule was her Legacy
