Language is Life

Live every word, so that every word can give life.

waves weaving

fruits feeding

blood bleeding

trees breathing

skies snowing

winds blowing

grains growing

streams flowing

rocks knowing

hearts glowing

flames flickering

rain whispering

grass glittering

snakes slithering

roots deepening

waters witnessing

forces wrestling

stones resting

moon mooning

blossoms blooming

birds attuning

schhhhhhh human

if we tune in into the sacred moving

and sense the silent mystery

meant to move in endless movement

moving meaning endlessly

there, in the center of the motion

the witness of the symphony

is standing still in deep devotion

to the vibrating mystery

can we speak from this devotion

while the storms are biting hard?

can we listen to the crashing occean

while resting deeply in our heart?

taste waves and faces of emotion

while trusting every single part

one aspect of the dancing ocean

the sacred seasons of our soul

Yet in the center of the trembling motion

the temple where we are home and whole

when we listen while we speak

speaking becomes feeling

when we are feeling while we bleed

bleeding becomes healing

when we embrace the fear to meet

the fear becomes a seedling

for inner growing

for mind-blowing

overflowing

heart expanding

silent landing

in our trembling

let's dare to let the tremble be the sacred temple

to transform surviving into joyous thriving

when we celebrate as we breathe

breathing becomes our mediation

when we meditate as we speak

speaking becomes our invitation

to unfold our gratitude for how nature loves

to love nature for the gratitude it unfolds in us

to let love for language arise

to give rise to a language of love

to live every word

so that every word can give life
