Land of Olives and Pines

When Letting Go Hurts

Land of Olives and Pines

Land of olives and Pines in you my heart beat was heard,

First cry escaped with the breath of life,

Born at dawn but in the night I laid absurd

land of olives and pines, my feet had paced your pasture,

Yes, a green complexion with patches of brown,

However, there resides my was and my am in that nature

Land of olives and pines for you I mourn and bleed,

For losing, losing my grasp and be taken by the wind,

Never will I forget those memories and that seed,

A seed that implores my heart with yearn and grief,

To leave behind the roots of your cedar tree.
