Kuiper's Drifter

An Ode to a Former Celestial King

Pluto winks from the

Edge of our Solar System

With envy and rage.

A Brown Colony

Farthest from the blazing Sun

Plagued by Dwarfism!

Once a Mystery

Deviating away from

Natural currents.

Later deemed a King

By sight-seers with telescopes

That magnified stars!

Reduced to labels -

Stripped of all Honor and Fame -

By mere sight-seers!

Once well-recognized

As a Celestial King,

Now deemed Drifter.

Shunned by his fellow

Brethren of the Solar Tribe

No hesitation.

The exiled King skulks

At the other Eight tribesmen,

Waiting for Justice.
