Kissed by Fire

Fierce

She lets down her hair

Coils of bronzed copper and burnished gold

Shakes it back from her face

As she lets loose a triumphant laugh

She remembers

She is wild and uncontained

A force to be reckoned with

The wildness of nature personified

She is tempestuous flames ablaze

A volcano set to erupt

Kissed by fire

So they say

She is fierce and free

Her untamed hair contains wild mysteries

In it she braids her sadness

In tight coils and twists

When it comes undone

Her sorrow leaves her

Drains away onto the forest floor

And she remembers

Who she is

Who she was

And always will be

A warrior

A fighter

Unyielding fire

In the face of adversity

Remember who she is

Respect her flame

She will warm those she loves

As she will burn those who wrong her

About the Creator

A. R. Ambrosi

I like to write, if that makes me a writer, then rock on!

I started writing as a child because I ran out of stuff to read. So, I only write stuff that I like. If you like it too, awesome! Enjoy! ^_^
