Kiss Me Behind the Door

1996 Series (Lyrics)

I see you every night

even though you’re not mine

I watch you with your friends

and I feel it’s the end

I come over to say "Hello”

and what’s new with you

I see the tears coming down your face

and I remember how your lipstick tastes

Kiss me behind the door

don’t let me go anymore

you say we’re through

found someone new

but we hold each other

like we always knew

I took your hand

dance to this song

but I tell you “I love you”

even though it was wrong

Dance all night

back to one other

pretending you’re not there

still the pain is calling us

Kiss me behind the door

don’t let me go anymore

you say we’re through

found someone new

but we hold each other

like we always knew
