Kiss

"...where I linger..."

Sunset Bay, Cape Arago, Oregon

The only silence for my tongue

Is found on the surface of your skin;

A salty beach where I linger.

Caressing lips protest and hold me;

Sweet lessons in oral capture.

Yes, the tongue is the strongest muscle,

Making the heart only weaker.

Hesitate, and test my will to leave.

Your tenderness belies power

And desire builds to succumb to it.

Two mouth’s acting on soul’s promise;

Does an act so simple mean so much?

In the moment that it happens

Aren’t we each a slave to our passion?

Privately blushing deep scarlet,

The center of me is electric.

Every movement sends flashes

Of near pain and pure delight through me.

Bound by this kiss, I love you so.

I surrender forever to you.
