Keep Trying

When you hold a door open for another person,

They stare at you all grumpy and ask you "WHY?"

"Because I want to help." you reply.

Left Puzzled why was he so mean?

Keep going "Ah its ok." you tell yourself.

But then you make another mistake,

Someone else needs help,

A cart full of groceries almost falling out,

"Can I help you?" you offer

Holy crap, the look of pure hate because you even offered,

"Alright then.", you reply and hurry away,

I try not to laugh but this last person was so pissed,

In a store, try moving out of the way for another person to pass you.

They say nothing for your nice gesture,

Just grumble under there breath at you,

While Someone else hits you in the back with their cart,

I STILL SMILE,

I KEEP TRYING.

OH YES, THE BEST PART

I WILL KILL YOU,

WITH MY KINDNESS

THEN LAUGH TILL IT HURTS.
