Who are these people

Among which we live?

Where did they come from?

How did they grow?

How did they change?

How did they know?

That this life would be hard

That this life would be rough

That this life would be beautiful

That this life isn’t enough

They knew because they lived it

They knew because they experienced it

They knew because they followed their dreams

And also fell, but jumped back up

For we have to fall to know

We have to jump to land

We have to live to grow

We have to rise to stand

For if we stay at our seat

We won’t know how much there is in this life

We will miss out

Unless we try. And it’s okay if it’s a mistake

For mistakes help us grow

From mistakes we learn to rise

From mistakes we learn to go

Where we truly will thrive

Therefore don’t give up on your dream

Don’t give up on your goal

Keep living

And one day it’ll become a reality, not just a show
