Focus,
and just breathe.
Inhale,
feel the cool air
passing through your nostrils,
taking refuge in the lungs.
Hold.

Exhale,
feel the warm air
filing out of the lungs,
pouring through your mouth.
Continue to breathe in this way while you read.
Just breathe.
We rarely ever take the time to stop.
Halt the current.
Pause the game we call life.
Just breathe.
Our lives seem to be racing at 1000 kilometres an hour,
trying to reach each checkpoint,
each achievement,
that we rarely ever take the time to
Just breathe.
We race by each accomplishment,
each milestone,
hoping that one day we'll be able to
Just breathe.
You're told, "life is short."
That you only have so much time
to achieve your dreams,
and not enough to
Just breathe.
We want to do so much.
We want to achieve so much.
We want to accomplish so much.
We want to achieve so much.
We forget to
Just breathe.
We believe we don't have enough time,
so we end up choosing not to
Just breathe.
...
Just. Breathe.
Life is long.
You have plenty of time.
You can achieve your goals.
But don't forget,
every once in a while,
to stop whatever you're doing, and
Just breathe.
