Just Bleeding

Poetry

A hand wandering through my hips,

A map of saliva drawn on my skin,

A few teeth digging in my neck

Which animal enjoying its prey.

It's always been easier for me to open my legs

Than my heart, but your fingers came

To the darkest corner of my soul.

And between your sheets, in the moonlight,

Your gaze opened in channel my body

Undressing in the most complete way.

But when my eyes searched yours

Your most intrinsic truth,

They found an unwavering wall.

I thought in that room

We had devoured each other

When, in fact, I was just bleeding.
