Just A Girl

About a Ghost

Just a girl walking down the road

Hands in her pockets whistling a tune

Raindrops keep falling from the dark sky

When it rains a love in heaven cries

This girl just walking down the road

Watches couples snuggle on benches

This deep, dreary day has her emotional

Teardrops fall from her eyes

The cemetery gates open up

The funeral is over, the casket lowered

Family members talk about wonderful memories

The small, little girl from the road

Disappears in thin air

You see she was a ghost that has now been laid to rest
