As I gaze upon the rose

I feel the love from inside

The smile upon my face

When, it was given to me

I felt special and touched

When you put a lot of thought

Into giving it to me

The crystal glows with a pink hue

Its leaves and stems are silver

The light reflects into my eyes

With love an affection

As they were

When we first said I do

A bouquet of roses so red

Along with the words of love and a ring

That had no beginning and no end

Even now that years have passed

I still gaze upon the rose

I'm treasuring the memories

We shared

I'm smiling, even though we are apart

I've had and shared the memories with you

My gaze upon the rose reminds me to never forget

The love and the commitment

We made so many years ago

Even though time has come and gone

I still have the rose, an memories of cherished emotions

What I felt then and how I feel now

Truly Blessed
