Judge Not

Why Should We?

Why do we judge

the homeless man

when we haven't walked

a mile in

his cracked shoes?

Why do we judge

the rich man

and heap praise

on his pretty

polished artful shoes?

Why do we judge

the diseased man

when he has

no shoes at all?

We do not judge

the homeless man

the victim of circumstance

the Democrat

the Republican

the joker

or the class clown

We do not judge

We should not

but to have compassion

we should wash

the feet

like the One

who already did

for us.

Simply put

But for

the Grace

of God go I.
