Japan

The Almost Happening

Where we spoke about

A trip to Japan you said

Words from your lips that my lips read

Little did we know a day like that would never arise

I mean honestly

What was I even thinking? What was going on in my head?

Definitely no surprise

It was all an illusion I created

I fantasized about more than just Japan

Trips to Bermuda, Bahamas

You calling me your pretty mama

But those days would never come because my world melted when you said you couldn't give me more

But it turned out okay because I knew why you couldn't give me more

We may cross paths

We may never see each other again

but a trip to Japan would be nice,

where it's breezy and I'll be freezing.
