It Stings

Let Me Out

It stings

Being locked up inside all the time

Just looking out a window

The only gateway to the world I have

Why can't I go out to

I feel so trapped

So isolated

From the world

It makes me sick to my stomach

Why must I be a slave in my own home

So many rules it'll make you want to vomit

It hurts to feel this way

But you make me and it stings

Beyond belief

Let me out

I want to feel the air again feel the sun

I want to scream it to the heavens

But I know my wishes will be left unheard

So I stare out the window

Trying not to tear my skin off.
