Here we go again,
Back to a familiar spot,
But it doesn't feel so grand,
It feels quite miserable,
In fact quite hurtful,
I ended up being right,
And I am not proud of that.
You sit smug,
Say you're happy,
But did you forget who helped rebuild you,
The ones you're hurting,
The ones you've angered,
Bridges burn,
Don't forget that.
I haven't been involved,
But you make it hard to stay neutral,
I see you hurting them,
Mistreating them,
They're my guys,
And dysfunctional - maybe,
But their hearts are in it.
So I want to "oh so kindly" say, "LAY OFF!"
