Dear you,
I get out of bed
like I drank the night before
my back is aching like I broke it before
those glasses of gin don't settle in
...so I've written this letter to you
cause I can't sing
It's not always easy
missing you
your taste of your skin
and kissing you
It's not always easy
not dreaming of you
it's not always easy
missing you
No morning coffee still
I stopped that awhile back
my boy goes to school
and me, I'm in a state of subtract..
one day down many more to go
I'm fighting off my demons
don't have no place to go
But I do have some promises to fullfill
like climbing that big old “Mountain of Life”
that they call a hill.
Work on myself every single day
..one by one (till it`s roadkill)
but this is where I am for now
oneday at a time
without my partner in crime
It's not always easy
missing you
the touch of your skin
and kissing you
over your valleys and stream
(yeah ) ...you know what I mean
...well, I got to run,
run towards another golden sun
Time isn't really on my side
don't catch too many breaks
without you by my side
It's not always easy missing you
It's not always easy till the end
so, so long my friend...till we meet again
