It's in the Air

It's March fifth, I like March fifth.

Definitely one for the books.

Throughout my life I never gave much thought to March,

I never really even noticed it before,

but now it is one of my favorites.

Along with September and November and December.

Who doesn't love December?

And June-and-July, because we all know those two are inseparably connected.

Anyway, March-

March is a good month I think.

And March brings Spring.

I never was one for Spring either.

My love is Fall.

Though I'm not sure how that happened, seeing as I grew up without seasons.

Thus the reason I was never one for Spring, because well, what is Spring anyways?

Is that one hot or hotter?

Now I know Spring.

After learning that the sun could nearly leave the face of the earth for almost half the year,

I have come to the reality of what Spring truly is.

Spring is that transitional period between hell and heaven,

winter and summer.

That transitional period that gives you hope.

Gives you reason to wake up in the morning.

Gives you reason to keep on keeping on.

It's the light at the end of that extremely dark and bitterly cold, long and winding tunnel.

It's the welcoming back of the sun, the welcoming back of life.

Yes, that is Spring.

And though it's not quite here yet, I'm beginning to feel it in the air.
