Is Love Worth the Battle

What cheating does to someone who loves you.

Is it truly possible to love someone after being hurt by them? This is such a vague question to answer.

After years and years, countless tears, and a broken heart... Is it still possible that the love you have for each other, could still exist?

Your significant other, the one you love oh so much constantly cheating on you, lying to your face, looking you in the eyes and saying "I Love You."

How does one handle that?

You give them all you have! Everything you do is for the best interest for the both of you.... And no matter how hard you try (every single day) nothing is ever good enough.

All the fights, the begging and bargaining you do to try and accommodate whatever it is he/or she may need just to keep them around and happy... The tears that are drowning your eyes... Feelings that race through your body, your heart, and your mind... That "this is your last chance and then I am done, that you know is the biggest lie you could tell yourself." The fact deep down inside you know you should end it because it keeps happening... But you're so in love that those changes will forever cycle through over and over again until maybe, just maybe, you can find the strength in you to go!

The names you were called that are forever imprinted in your mind... They come and go frequently through out your days... And you sit and ponder on them. Wondering if they were right and maybe you are all those things that were said...

This results in you battling yourself each and everyday... Fighting your mind and heart...

The person you once knew and loved (yourself) is now this person you don't want to be. Because you can't stand that person...
