Your Pleasure, My Pain

bare flesh

against rough concrete

stale breath

like daggers piercing through my skin

and as sweaty palms

took me for their own

I lost the will to fight

innocence escaping me

like the tears that rush down my cheeks

my screams become silent

as the moment invades my soul

creating demons inside me

ones that I continue to fight

not only in my dreams

but in complete daylight

I thought I placed my trust

in the hands of an angel

blinded, I was easily fooled

for it was the devil I saw that night

watching me cry out, "no"

but choosing to hear, "yes"
