Instrument of Pleasure

Inspired by 'Taken' — A Behind the Scenes Look at the Bidding Process from the Female's Perspective

Forgotten, faceless, lost in the mob

Memory taunts you, projecting images of a person now gone

Suddenly your surrounding is not one you know

The trap of your debt grabs your throat and won't loosen up

You're tormented

Tormented

You want to own me, here's my tag for sale

Reserve your price and let the bidding begin

A souless room of lords, bidding for a lady on their arm

She's not a heart, she's their prop, a cycle of pain that won't stop

All you are

Is an instrument of pleasure

For the man with a shallow heart

You sin together

In wait of judgement for your unholy offence

Not new today

Is the fresh dawn, your sins carry on

In the devils lair, only despair

Doesn't anyone care, it's not fair

You search for salvation in this cruel world

Absolution evades you at every turn, you can't break your curse

You pray, you beg but none of it is enough

You've been left to rough, to slowly crumble to dust

You're tormented

Tormented

The corner lights are again bright tonight

We pleasure our master for their delight

Come and join me my dear, in my asylum just for a night

I'll make you great, you won't want to escape

All you are

Is an Instrument Of Pleasure

For the man with the shallow heart

You sin together

In wait of judgement for your unholy offence

Harsh is the night

Your scarred eyes have witnessed violence first hand

Left to your plight, no wrong or right

Take me over, I'm too weak to fight
