The Storm

What comes before the storm?

A greatness scorned, sworn under distress, however, potential to perform.

An eye within the center, staring violently as maelstroms surround you, attacking viciously like a flock of angry crows protecting their newborn.

There's silence, as the last child mourns.

Crashed ships, slowly sinking into the abyss of the pacific underneath that violent eye. The inevitable stares at you, making escape futile, and your heart torn.

Lights flash before you, bombarding memories of all good things up to this point remind you of how you never lived because all you did was give, and for a second...You felt reborn.

A gentle hand touches your heart, a heavy burden lifted from your shoulders, your very essence and existence feels at this very moment, warm.

An angel calls your name, you snap back to reality as the ship that you're meant to depart with blows its horn.
