Innocent Soul

A Collection of Poems

My collection of poems inspired by life. From love to abuse to everything in between.

Souls can be innocent much like an evergreen.

These poems are my growth, my thoughts, and my heart.

Written in a moment of spontaneity right from the start.

Love

It could be called a crime

To look into your eyes

And see less than infinite beauty

It could be called ecstasy

To be in your presence

And feel more than breathless

It be called a thrill

To feel your touch

And be transcended into the unknown

Still in all these thoughts

Nothing can describe

What you do to me

Just one look

You steal my heart

And I want nothing back

Just one kiss

You raise my soul

Into the stars of forever

Just one word

You remind me

Love. . .is indescribable

You're richer than honey

The sweet scent of your hair

The purity of your presence

It's not what you do

That makes me love you

But who you are

It's not what you don't do

That makes me believe in you

But who you strive to be

I can only say

I love you

I just. . .love you

Kiss Me

Kiss me with passion

Free of restriction

Free of contrition

Kiss me like it's the last time

As if you'll never see me again

As if you can't control yourself

Kiss me again

Fill it with absolute fervor

As if you couldn't bear to let go

Kiss me without prejudice

But with pure conviction

Leave me enchanted

Kiss me with tenderness

Into a flight of ecstasy

With the feathery touch of your lips

Kiss me once more

As we lie together

In the softest green grass

Kiss me like nobody else

Without sense of reason

Without sense of reality

Kiss me without false pretense

Filled with innocence

Filled with life

Kiss me one last time

Make it eternal

Take me into forever

Someday

We both know the same people

And you're wrong

I'm over you

But I'm not over what you did to me

I may not be strong enough yet

But I've managed to hold my head high

I've gritted through the pain

And I've fought

For what little sanity I have left

I found a way to love the world

Even after you destroyed mine

Someday, I'll be able to face you

I'll be able to smile

Because the scars will fade

Till then I will wait

I will heal, and survive

And when I can finally face you

It will be one of my greatest achievements

When that some day comes

I'll have truly broken free

You'll be nothing

Just another stranger

Because the scars will fade

Till then I will wait

I will heal, and survive

And when I can finally face you

I'll finally be free

Free from fear

Free from your hatred

Free to forgive again.

Some day. . .

Neverland

Find a fairy, go to Neverland

Turn yourself into Peter Pan

Meet young Wendy

She's won't have you quite so spendy

Live happily ever after

Cause happiness is all that matters

Forget the escorts

Live in nature's free resorts

Powder yourself in pixie dust

Forget those tugboats full of rust

Fly away to Neverland

Turn yourself into Peter Pan

Swim with the mermaids

Or fight against the pirate raids

Fall in love, or take an adventure

Just remember your character

Stop and play in the tall green grass

Sit in an Indian circle next to a beautiful lass

Powder yourself in pixie dust

Forget those tugboats full of rust

Fly away to Neverland

Turn yourself into Peter Pan
