Inconsolable Emotions

Jealous Women's Journal

There's no helping the anger inside,

every time I see your eyes wander.

There's no helping how conflicted I feel,

every time I hear your laughter.

Knowingly I console my jealousy.

Knowingly you hurt me more.

Every time insecurities seep through,

your anger rises.

Should my emotions remain hidden,

Am I in the wrong?

For feeling as if I have been bitten,

every time you drag me along.

My overreactions fuel your anger,

and your anger fuels my reaction.

I will never understand your emotion,

at my inconsolable inner corruption.

Apologies are accepted,

hugs are given.

Kisses give me hope,

and sweet words and wishes boost me inches.

Confliction hurts my heart,

as I feel confident and insecure at the same moment.

I promise,

I'll fix it.

You promise,

We will.

Another argument ends.

But never,

My inconsolable emotions.
