In My Dreams

It's not a dream.

In my dreams

there are people on the street

Loving everyone they meet

always huggin and kissin cheek to cheek

never passin by without a greet

unable to stop moving there feet

cuz the music's always groovin sweet

In my dreams

there are people all around

gettin groovy to that funky sound

cuz Jah Jah's lovin never lets them down

when they thought they were

lost he came and found

picked them up and twirled them around

didn't know where they were at

when they hit the ground

only that the good feelings were abound

In my dreams

It doesn't matter

who is rich

or who is fatter

all that matters is

that we gather

all our friends and

climb the ladder

to that place of love and laughter

we all know that's what were after

That place of love and freedom

it could be called the Celestial Kingdom

it doesn't matter, that's the thing cuz

no matter what you call it

it'll always bring a

smile to your face

and make you sing and

shout praises

to the most high king that

abides in every living being

it could be compared to a rainbow gathering

in any case

that's what's in my dreams

It may seem

like just a dream

but I know it's real

cuz of how it feels

and I won't give up

no matter what

till every soul

who's willing and whole

finds a way

to see the day

that we all wake up

and see everything's ok

cuz love exists

and the devil's tricks

are illusionary tactics

to make us think

we're on the brink

we're all gonna die

we're not good enough to survive

BUT THAT'S BULLSHIT

I know it

cuz even though it seems to be

I have a creative personality

I could not imagine one small thing...

That God might've intended it to be

ONLY in my dreams
