In a Valley with No Escape
A Poem About an Endless Cycle of Love

Light blue silver lining
White clouds, bursting above
a million mountaintops
sing along.
Into the valley trail with
whiskey rivers, I see you
we are on our way
back to where we started.
Just like the sun and the moon
holding on to the moment
under the stars at night.
Pouring rain
this is the view,
I remember the most.
Through the wilderness,
we speak
where bears live,
where birds sing,
I lie in your charms
though it hurts me the most.
