Illusions

A Poem

I engage at the sound of the tone

I’m old but never withdrawn or alone

I feel the wind swaying it’s pearls along

it sings a melody so soft, but so strong

like the waves caressing the sun at dawn

The unfamiliar harmonious aspire

binding life that is unreconciled

powerful sense of a happy smile

lyrics conformed with grace, riled

melodic voices of a small child

lost in inevitable moments, dreams Devine

Melting in nature’s serene garden

baby blue illusions emerge, take caution

visions of spirits frivolously forgotten

surrounded by wonder, expressions so common

the seeds of tomorrow will somehow a l w a y s blossom
