If I Could

Wouldn't you?

If you had the chance

I've never been much of a suave writer, but if I were to write I would write about the look in his steadfast blue eyes as he gazed upon his love, full of future promises and pure adoration.

I've never been much of a professional speaker, but if I were to make a speech I would talk about how much good I see in this world of hate.

I've never been much of a prodigy musician, but if I were to play well I'd compose a symphony to change the hardened hearts of the close minded and open the gates of freedom around my bound and broken heart.

I've never been much of a wayward screamer, but if I were to scream I'd lose and break my voice to let go of the pain and the hurt that is still terrorizing and decaying inside.

I've never had much use for hate, but if I were to hate I would hate the broken moments when you leave dear people and precious moments behind forever. I would hate when there is no fixing the brokenness and the pain. I'd hate the realization of heartbreak.

I've never been much of a lover, but if I were to love I would be fierce in showing it. To show love should be a requirement of love.

I've never been much of a healer, but if I were to heal I would heal those who suffer from the deepest of wounds, suffocating in their pain and drowning in their sorrow.

I've never been much...but if I could be, I would.

I think it's important to share struggles with others in order to help the same types of people in their own lives. Heaven knows enough other people with struggles worse than mine have helped me in the past.
