I Was Sure

I was sure it wouldn’t happen to me those four letters we often say,

I mean I seen it happen in the films and I heard it in songs everyday.

I was sure that magic couldn’t be seen apart from in the night sky,

I was sure , so sure.. until the first time you looked into my eyes.

I was sure that butterflies belonged in open fields and not fluttering in me,

I was sure home was a place and not a person , so tell me how can it be?

It’s strange how love can make you rise when you start to fall..

and now I’m sure I wasn’t sure, after all.
