I wanna be beautiful but Society says

I can't be

Because I'm not skinny

Because I'm curvy enough but skinny

In the right places

Because my lips aren't pretty enough

I'm not a size 0

I do not look like a model

I wanna be beautiful

But Society says I need surgery to do so

So I think about it

Should I go under the knife

I would do anything to be beautiful

All the makeup in the world doesn't

Change the way I feel inside

I wanna be beautiful

But Society says no you have to follow the trends

You have to follow the crowd

But I don't want to

I wanna be beautiful in my own way

I don't want to be a size 0

I don't want to follow the trends

I don't want to be a sheep

I will not listen to society

I will be me and find my own beauty one day.
