I Stand

I stand here,

No more changes in life,

Nothing to gain nothing to lose,

It's just a dream.

I stand at my grave,

Wondering where my life has gone,

Wondering where the time has gone,

My heart aches.

I stand at my house,

Destroyed by the rain,

Destroyed from the wreckage,

I feel the pain.

I stand at my child's door,

Reaching out to touch her,

Reaching out for comfort,

I see her smile.

I stand in my hometown,

Nearing the edge,

Nearing my end,

I see it too clearly now.

I stand in Heaven,

I became an Angel,

I live again,

And I stand now.
