I Needed Her

I needed her, I wanted her.

I summoned her

I longed for her

I welcomed her

She cradled me in her arms

I wept in her bosom and she smelled of the sweetest lilac and summer rain

I looked into her eyes and I saw her soul

Her soul was beautiful and I wanted so desperately to dance with her.

She spoke and her words pierced my ears like my favorite rhythm & blues tune.

She asked me, "Are you ready?"

Without hesitation I said, "Yes."

Her hands caressed my face

I shivered with ecstasy

We kissed and her lips were so cold

I craved more so I kissed her deeply

Her soul was seductive and intoxicating, and I reveled it

Our lips parted and once more she asked, "Are you ready?"

She kissed me. I gasped as the air escaped from my burning lungs. I had no regrets.

I was free

I was happy

I was dancing with death's soul.
