I'm Still Breathing

You ask me if I’m alright

As always I don’t answer properly, I just bite

I might say I’m fine

But that’s just another one of my lies

You should be able to see from my eyes

Six years and you still can’t tell

I’m living a life of hell

It’s not you I promise honey

I just want some more money

And to live somewhere sunny

They say happiness comes from within

I wouldn’t know where to begin

In fact I don’t even know the meaning

Hurt is all that I am feeling

But at least that means I’m still breathing,

Right?
