I'm Gone.

A Grandmother's last wish.

There are no words,

that I could say.

Nor anything that

I could do.

To make leaving

any easier.

Like a band-aid

it will sting.

Just give it time,

to heal.

The pain will

subside.

So smile for me.

Dance in the rain,

for me.

Cause that's what,

I would do.

I'd celebrate,

each day.

I'd party,

all night.

I'd think of you.

Your smile,

your laugh.

The way the sun,

would shine on you.

I would talk,

to you in whispers.

In the darkness,

of our dreams.

And paint you,

a memory so sweet.

To keep for the rest

of your days.

My love belongs,

to you.

As it always will.

Your are my hope.

You are the future.

About the Creator

Jude Marie Augustine

I'm talented with stringing along words to express everything that I feel and experience. I am an indigenous aboriginal. I love art, music, dance, drawing, and of course writing. I've been hiding it for so long, I think it's time!
