I'm a Vampire

I am a vampire.

But it isn't what you think.

I am a vampire

because I cannot sleep.

I don't bite other people's necks

I don't need their blood to live.

But my bed is comfy in the morning

all I want is to sleep in.

I am a vampire

but i'm only one in name.

If vampires were real

i would be a shame.

I can walk into a church

and the sun wont make me burst.

Garlic will not wound me;

The rising moon begins the party.

The stories are getting boring,

maybe they are tired.

But hey, what the hell,

I'm a vampire.
