I'm a Cyborg and That's OK

Imperfection

Hello, So and so

Pleasure to meet you

Greet you

Please I hope I don’t offend you

Send you

The wrong message

But I do have a heart

It's just sitting next to an alternator

And my dream generator

Connected to my thought processor

Have been filled with you and me

Stored under file name #daydreams

Hope I seem ok with an arm that gleams

And vent on my neck that steams

I know I'm unsightly

And my glowing eyes are frightening

Even though I'm not high-definition

And I break protocol tradition

All of my calculated decision

Are never based on superstition

And even if my WiFi fails

And my speakers can’t wail

I’ll read every email

That you send to me

All my updates are free

And I’ve got a battery

Using energy efficiently

Overnight under day

Because I’m a cyborg

Hope that's ok

Because I hope that's okay

Virus alert!

Greetings juveniles

With my style of all styles

Superior to all on file

My apologies on the freeze

But excuse me

You will need

to fulfill your questions in order to stimulate a legitimate answer legitimately

As my computational, sensational flow slides

I provide the jive to thrive

All around the world

All 510 million square kilometers of it

Is the perfect scene

Since you are one in 7 billion 223 million 84 thousand and...

well you know what I mean

But despite my being more machine than man

If I’m not you’re leaning, I understand

But I’ll tell you why you should

In binary just for fun

01001100

01101111

01110110

01100101

Sorry about that

I'm usually not that forwarded

Forward it

To all your contacts

Contact lenses couldn't see these facts

Fact is I'm not perfect

No one walking this earth's surface is

But it's possibly plausible

If you find me tolerable

Then perhaps you could be

Finally

Everything this Cyborg needs

To complete

My operating system

I'm willing to upgrade

Upload, download, update

defragment, empty the recycle bin

or even drive wipe and begin

again from the start menu

Then you

and I

could be status: synced

and our programs: linked

But in the date, or rather, event

I long for that day

That if we really can be one flesh

I hope together we'll say

I'm a Cyborg and That's Okay
