”I watched my friend go through this, I wrote a poem for her. She loved that man, but he didn't love her. Glad she left and started loving herself and just taking care of her children.”

"Slap to the face, choking me up, I swear this time, I had enough.”

Bottle on the table, he has been drinking again, he had a few cups. Always get so big and bad, trying to start some stuff. Trying to argue, and I ain't even trying to fuss with you. Tired of you thinking that I'm stuck with you. Like, really? Was sup with you!?

I just can't take it no more. Yelling at me, telling me to get over here and pop a squat. I say I'm leaving and you scream, and say "I'm all you got." I'm not gonna let you talk to me any way you want to. Told you, some things I just can't get use to.

Always putting your hands up to me. What you gonna do? Hit me in front of my kids!? It is what it is. When I get off this floor, you gonna wish you didn't.

Tired of treating myself like nothing, always making sure you're good. All the sorry days are over. I take the blame, I put up with your lying. Long nights of me crying myself to sleep.

I believed you when you told me, you love me. Jokes on me, I was playing the fool, while you were being foolish. Told you, I wanted something real and you said you wanted the same.

I'm not wrong for being able to love. Now I have to love myself. Should of told me, this ain't what you want. Melody and Mona. The twins! Our kids! Thought we could make it work for them Chad. I'm your wife, I thought you had my back. My lover and friend. Selling me a dream, doing all this pretending. I took your Brokenness and tried to mend it.

"I'm sorry, I gotta go. Sorry, this is the way we have to end it.” That slap to the face, and choking me up, I really had enough.

I was just writing. I'm new to the website, wanna give it a go, and see if you enjoy it. Let me know. God bless, XO.
