I Dream of a House

"Nestled in the verdant mountains"

Nestled in the verdant mountains,

Among lush green trees,

Is the house I've seen in my dreams.....

I lean against the clear glass wall,

As rain sweeps it from the outside,

As if it's melting the grass with it...

.

Oh, but how could I stay here long,

When rain drops beckon me,

To join them in their dance!

.

So off I go to the porch and am greeted,

By a frolicsome breeze of fresh cool air,

Caressing me as if I were Nature's own child...

.

I snuggle myself in the cozy chair,

A piping hot cuppa and my favorite book,

Awaiting me...

.

Come summer and I greet the sun,

Shining at me merrily,

From under the giant parasol,

That I have in my big green lawn.

.

I water my sylvan friends who've been guarding,

From the periphery of the lawn,

And sip way with a straw my icy lemonade.....

.

The house of my dreams it may be,

My recluse, my abode,

But alive it'll come one day...

I'll breathe life into it someday.....
