I Don't Miss You Today

I Miss You Everyday

I don't miss you today, I miss you every day

I don't miss your face, I see you in every crowd

I don't miss your laugh, I hear it in my dreams

I don't miss your travel stories, I carry them with me

They say that time takes the pain away, it just makes it easier to hide

So don't ask me how I'm doing, I'll hide behind my pride

They say that time heals all wounds, it just covers them with dust

So don't ask me how I'm doing, I won't let you below my crust

I don't miss you today, I've missed you for 19 years

I won't talk about you today, it will only end in tears

I don't miss you today, I've missed you for half my life

I don't miss you just today, I miss you everyday
